Here I am at President Clinton's 2nd ignaruation. I was wearing
my BEST trench coat and felt really honored to be there.
"Where were you when JFK was shot?" Well I was part of the press entourage
with JFK in Dallas. Sadly, I also became a part of LBJ's press corps.
However I was able to witness his swearing in on the plane.
Two days later, I flew back to Dallas to cover the Oswald story.
Naturally, I was shocked to be behind him as he was shot. What a weekend
that was!
What alot of music fans are not aware of is, that there was a 6th Beatle!
That's right, yours truly was the forgotten drummer who covered for Pete
Best until Ringo was able to arrive in Liverpool. This is a video-still
from a rare 1962 performance on BBC-3.
During the Pope's 1995 visit to New York, I was selected as one of the
honored few to receive an audience. This shot was taken afterwards as we
all shared a candid moment before going back to the airport. In
1863, I finally reached the rank of General for the US Army. I posed for
this daugerrotype on the same day I lost nearly all of my batallion in
attempt to regain Charleston, NC.
In May 1997, I joined the crew of the Space Shuttle and lived on the Mir
space station for 3 months. I'm surprised the camera worked long emough
for this picture!
Of course, in the 1770's photography was not quite invented yet, so this
painting was done instead. Here I am helping General Washington cross
the Delaware River.
In 2268, I joined the crew of the Starship Enterprise. Although I was
lowly technician in engineering, I posed for this crew photo as a test for
the photographer while we waited for Mr. Spock to arrive on the bridge.
At first Nintendo wanted to name their new game "Super mrgraff Bros." But
as you know, the early videogame industry was not yet ready for such
realistic graphics. Nintendo chose Mario instead and "mrgraff Bros." only
exists as demo screens.
Every Red Dwarf fan out there probably remembers me best from my in the
background with my back turned, head in a paper bag cameo from episode
#322.3 This is the face you were'nt allowed to see.
Time magazine chose me as a "Man of the year" candidate in 1995 because of
my humanitarian work with the starving children of the world. This cover
sample was produced in the event that I was selected. Somehow, don't ask
me why, but Newt Gingrich received the honor.
I was featured on the August 17, 1983 cover of TV Guide. This was when my
show: The mrgraff show starring mrgraff, was nominated for the best
TV show people's choice award that year.
This is my 1998 Baseball trading card. I was with the Braves for about
three hours, but I was there long enough to get my picture taken. When
news of my leaving the team went public, my card was removed from
production. Only 100 of them were released and are valued at about $2
million each.
Before I was involved in baseball, I was a marathon runner. I didn't
qualify for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, but I was offered my
very own Wheaties cereal box. (A much higher honor believe me!)
Many years ago, (while working on my Time magazine nomination) I toured
Africa by motor-cycle. While in Kenya I posed for my old insta-matic
camera for a photo as I crossed the Equator.
Now, this is a photo I didn't wan't out on the web. I might as well
come clean. In 1973 I was charged with a brutal triple homicide in
Antarctica involving a penguin, a hammer, a block of swiss cheese, and an
old carrot. The charges were eventually dropped. The other exhibits are still under construction. Please check back
soon!
