Poster-size drawings made from my APDM 216 class, as well as two dresses from the 1950's Fashion Gallery held at Miller Hall at UH, December 2002.
My Fashion Illustrations!!!
My APDM (Apparel Product Design & Merchandising) 216 class- Fashion Illustration 1 - just finished a 'media studies' project. We drew 10 figures and clothed them according to a specific checklist and used different mediums to color/shade them in. Here's my drawings! (click to enlarge)
From my Sketchbook:
"Flats": an illustration showing the detail of the front and back,
"Float": drawn without the figure, but with dimension and detail
Using a tracing from a 1950's pattern catalog and Adobe Photoshop:
98 Degrees related:
I made these with a pair of Blue Asphalt Jeans from my favorite store, Wet Seal, and a whole ton of rhinestones. I modeled the design by combining Nick and Drew Lachey's matching armband tattoos. I put each rhinestone on by hand. It took forever, but I think it looks damn good!
The design is only on the right side of the jeans. (I didn't want to overpower it with so many rhinestones and put it on both sides.)
(It's not done yet, but here's the finished half.) Made with wire and seed beads.
-for use on online sites to promote 98°'s new song "Why (Are We Still Friends)"
