Made by the DeVeau Telephone MFG Co. of 27 Rose St New York.
These telephones were used as a private communication system in large houses.
The labels on the front of the phone are stamped with "3RD HALL"   "PANTRY"   "TELEPHONE ROOM"   "2ND HALL"   "MAIN BEDROOM" with one label missing.
The transmitter and receiver are branded DeVeau.
