ABOUT US...
The Old Tool Nut Journal was originally planned to be a quarterly newsletter for the clients of Tool Classics. It was soon realized that there was an area open that other publications just didn't fill. Some of us won't admit that we are an OLD TOOL NUT.
THE JOURNAL IS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED
What we realized in time is that there are individuals who do not want to join tool collecting groups, and who do not wish to join the internet crowd. Most old tool publications were quarterly, and old tool collectors want to be in contact more often...So, I started The Old Tool Nut Journal! Now, every month we crank out another issue full of tools and other interesting stuff.
We encompass the whole wide world of Old Tools! Anything can be used as or considered a tool. My wife has been caught using a meat tenderizer as a hammer (she also used it in to demonstrate a point in sex education to my 16 yr. old son, but that is another story), my children have used my plane irons to dig in the dirt (children and tools is also another story), and I have used my teeth, pocket change and other strange items as tools. What we hope to in The Old Tool Nut Journal is discuss tools, their history, their PROPER USE, and their values.
We send out a whole lot of free issues, because potential subscribers want to see what they are getting! If you want a free issue, just click on the contact us button below and we will send one happily along the way. And now the hard sell! If you like what you receive, subscribe! We do not send a bill after the free issue. We expect that if you like what you got, you will let us know with your subscription. And the yearly subscription is only $7.50. . This is no get rich quick scheme by our staff. Subscription fees barely cover postage costs!
That's it. If you have any questions, suggestions or rocks to throw concerning tools or the Journal, please let us know and we will do our best to help.
