I know my Grandfathers last name was Gosinell (not sure of the spelling), but the blood quantum is what I have a problem with. I am 20% Native American by blood, but in my heart, I am 110%. What I don't understand about the blood quantum is having to show a certain amount to be considered Native American, but have just one drop of Negro blood in your system and you and all your ancestors will be considered black, Negro, African American or whatever name the blacks decide to use next. I'm not trying to be insulting towards anyone here, but there is a problem. There seems to be a different blood quantum for each race. Now I will get off my soapbox and show you some of my work. I deal in many crafts. My only regret is that I can't say that they are Native American made even though I am a Native American. I started working with wood when I was very little. I got my first toolbox when I was about 9 or 10. Some of the tools were not that good, so I would sneak my fathers saw out of the house to do the cutting. The wood I used was old crates we got from in back of the grocery store. The only nails I had were the ones I took out of the crates and straightened. My love of working with wood grew and grew till I was teaching classes in high school while still a student, and having 5 adults I taught in night school while still a student. Because of my ability with wood, my wood shop instructor decided he and his wife were going to take me with them to Wisconsin and put me through college to be a wood shop teacher. That never got to happen. I wound up in Lai Khe South Vietnam with the Robinhoods, 173rd Aslt Hel Co., a brotherhood I am still with today. I also do a lot of Native American beadwork, leather work, carving, painting and other things that I will show you in my pages. I hope you enjoy my pages and what I have to show you. If anyone has any questions about any of my crafts or has a request for any of the items listed, send me a message. I do have items for sale and will custom make items.
