Materials: Bedspread Weight cotton thread (size 10) or smaller if you prefer Steel Crochet Hook. Note, this comes out pretty large, so it's I recommend size 20 or 30 thread.
Size 9 (or the size you prefer when using size 10 thread. If using size 20 or 30 thread, be sure to
adjust your hook size accordingly)

Note: This is a basic filet pattern. Spaces = ch 2, 1 dc; Blocks = 3 dc

Chain 30 (work this bookmark on the short side).
Row 1: Dc in 4th chain from hook (the 3 skipped chaines will serve as first dc of this row), dc in each chain across. Turn. (9 blocks or 27 dcs)

Rows 2 - 44: Follow chart.
