Materials: Goody elastic ponytail band
Crochet hook size 5
size 10 bedspread cotton thread or Perle Cotton (you may want to use a little larger hook if using Perle cotton)
44 small pearl beads
Do 88 sc around the elastic band. Join in first sc.
Round 1: sc in same chain as joining, ch 5, * sk 3 sc, sc in next st * repeat around, join. (22 loops)
Round 2: (1st ruffle): into each loop, make a sc, hdc, dc, 2 trc, bring up a bead tight, ch 1, trc, dc, hdc, sc (1 petal loop completed). Do these petal loops in each ch 5 space around. Join in first st at end of round. Fasten off.
Round 1: (2nd ruffle): Join thread in middle of unused sc in foundation round (round 1). * sc, ch 5, sc in middle sc of foundation under next loop* around, join in first sc.
Round 2: Repeat round 2 of first ruffle. Fasten off.
