Materials: Bedspread Weight cotton thread (size 10) or smaller if you
prefer
Steel Crochet Hook size 8 or 9 (or the size you prefer when using size 10 thread. If using size 20 or 30 thread, be sure to adjust your hook size accordingly.
Ch 29.
Row 1:Dc in 8th ch from hook, * ch 3, skip 2 ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch *, repeat from *, twice more, ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in last ch. Turn
Row 2:Ch 5, dc in next dc, * ch 5, dc in next dc, repeat from *, twice more, ch 2, skip 2 chs, dc in next ch. Ch 5, turn.
Row 3 - 26:Dc in next dc and repeating rows 1 and 2, continue in pattern. Do not fasten off when row 25 is completed. Turn.
EDGING
Ch 1, 2 sc in same sp. Now working around entire perimeter, do: 5 sc in ch-5 loops, 7 sc in corner sps, 3 sc in ends or rows, all the way around to beg, 5 sc in corner sp. Fasten off and press lightly with iron and a little spray starch.
