The Ten Commandments National Monument
The Ten Commandments National Monument
The Call - To publicly acknowledge and honor the Holy God we refer to when we say as a nation,
"In God we trust" and "One nation under God".

Moses to walk across America in search of 144,000.

The Ten Commandments Foundation has announced plans to sponsor The Moses March from California to Washington D.C. April through September 1998 in an effort to establish a permanent presence in the nations capital, says Barry Scott, Director of Operations.
When asked about the purpose of the foundation, Scott said, "The Ten Commandments Foundation is dedicated in the public interest to educational and awareness campaigns, and to the public display of the Ten Commandments - God's law as recorded in the Holy Bible. We will fulfill this purpose by conducting the Moses March to raise funds and awareness, and then by raising a HUGE 40-ft tall, granite monument of the Ten Commandments tablets, in a prominent location in the Washington D.C. area.

The Ten Commandments National Monument:

The names of the first 144,000 contributors to the monument or sponsors of the Moses March are to be forever remembered - carved on the granite pedestal foundation of the monument. These are the first 144,000 to answer the call, here, at the turn of the millenium, to establish this great national monument, and further agree that:

This monument is dedicated to future generations that they may never forget the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the God of the Holy Bible, who wrote the Ten Commandments with His own finger in tables of stone.

This unique opportunity - to publicly stand with God and HIS Ten Commandments is limited to the first 144,000 supporters beginning Jan 1, 1998 - call (910) 957-4225 for more information or FAX (910) 957-3599.
The 144,000 sponsors of the Moses March must give at least a penny per mile or $35 for the 3500-mile trek and sign up one additional sponsor willing to do the same. The 144,000 will receive specially issued, sequentially numbered, granite cast tablets of the Ten Commandments, sure to be highly collectable. The 8" tall gray granite laser-cut copies of the Ten Commandments are made with granite from the same quarry as planned for the monument and the tablets are slotted so as to hang or may be displayed 'desktop' with a wire stand. Supporters are asked to display the tablets where all can see and be made aware of the timeless Law of God. Larger two-tablet sets are available for couples or groups signing up together such as families and churches.

The Ten Commandments National Monument is to forever stand in tribute of those individuals and organizations that are standing by the Ten Commandments, at the turn of the millenium. We are asking the national church and religious organizations, who hold these truths dear to not give money, but simply let their members know how they can participate in this great endeavor. The national church and religious organizations that support these efforts will in this manner, be remembered as long as time shall last, on a separate marker located on the site as follows:

When all of the national church and religious organizations, professing to uphold and support the Ten Commandments, were given the call, at the turn of the millenium, to establish this Ten Commandments National Monument, the following faithfully responded:

The Ten Commandments Commemorative Stamp:

Also being circulated by the group in connection with the Moses March is a petition requesting the United States Postal Service to issue a commemorative stamp featuring the Ten Commandments. When asked, "What prompted his Moses March?" Scott responded, "Believe it or not, our marching orders have come directly from the United States Congress. On March 6th, 1997 the 105th US Congress passed resolution H. CON. RES. 31, - calling for the public display of the Ten Commandments in government offices and courthouses. For some reason, this congressional resolution received little or no media attention. So most people just do not know about it. This is why we are petitioning the United States Postal Service to issue a commemorative stamp. To commemorate this great congressional resolution, and then of course as stamps are collected, it is another way we can ensure the Ten Commandments are not forgotten."

Now time is of the essence. The Moses March begins in San Francisco on April 15, 1998 and will arrive in Washington D.C. in September 1998. This Washington D.C. area site is sure to be a popular attraction for visitors. You do not want to be left out of this one!
We are committed to recording for time and eternity - the organizations and people who got behind The Ten Commandments National Monument, at this unique time in our nation's history. It is our prayer that you will appreciate our offer to you and join us in this glorious event.
