I have become involved as founder of a channel in mIRC.. #bluelagoon. Some very close friends I have made are Joff, Tafos, Praetor, Craig, BluBell, Squatt3r, Jenn, ArS3N|C, digitalac, chonky, Bear, Ronin, Riki, and Lili^. There are many more that regularly visit #bluelagoon, so a special mention to those.
