Mini reunion - corpus christi, texas

Saturday, March 7th was our mini or should I say, micro reunion here in Corpus Christi. I had hoped for a larger turnout, but the weather had not been cooperating down here. For several days prior the skies were dark and dreary. I was tempted to just call of the entire reunion, however, I kept watching the weather reports on the local idiot's Television stations. I call them idiots because they can never get anything right. I figured that whatever they predicted I would plan on the opposite. Saturday morning after looking out the window, I figured that the local weathermen had gotten lucky. The skies were awful looking. I decided not to go to the beach first thing in the morning. I would wait until later when I figured that if anyone was driving down to Corpus that they wouldn't get here very early because of the weather. Around 10:30am I started to load up the van. My girlfriend, Norma and I jumped into the van with our 100% Grand Champion Mutt. We stopped by the local grocery store and purchased a few provisions. Then we headed out to the beaches of Padre Island. After driving up and down the beach with our sign of Wagner H.S. I parked the van. It was cloudy when we left our house, but by the time that we had driven up and down the beach and found a place to park the sun came out in its most splendid beauty.

Around, 1:30pm, we were graced by the lovely presence of Ms. Char. Becky Char and myself introduced ourselves and we sat down for an afternoon of exchanging cherished memories of Clark, the Philippines, being a military brat, and of course, Wagner High School. Becky also mentioned a thing or two about Wagner's webmaster, John Prunier. Around 5pm we decided to call it a day and promised to do it again soon.
