Hello and welcome to the Homepage of the Turkish Cypriot Internet Society. Our mission is to promote Internet awareness in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and provide information about our State to thousands of Turkish Cypriots living abroad, as well as the international community.
It is estimated that 90 million people around the world have access to the Internet which is the largest computer network hosting vast amounts of information. In today's world, knowledge is power and the IT revolution is rapidly changing our lives. We believe that the TRNC should take full advantage of the potential of the Net to wage its information campaign about the facts of the Cyprus problem and the efforts of President Denktash and the government to find a feasible and viable solution based on a bi-zonal and bi-communal federation. In these pages, we shall do our best to help you learn about the beauty of North Cyprus, the culture of its friendly and hospitable people, its cultural heritage and history, its rich cuisine and excellent climate.
