The first and the oldest of the group. Max is the "King" and all the other animals know it except the ferrets. We got Max from a local farmer. Max is "The Man."
     Max has been having some problems. He started having seizures, which he is being treated for. Unfortunately, he is now having problems with balance. Our Vet feels he might have also had a mild stroke. He's hanging in there.

     On February 22, 2000, we had to put Max to sleep.  He got so thin from his thyroid problem.  He was having seizures and he lost just about all of his muscle mass.  We were hoping for a miracle the day we scheduled him to be put to sleep but there was no miracle cure for him.  We loved him so much and will miss him each and every day.  Biggy is gone.

     In three months he would have been 19 years old.
