Note the following comments of notable viewers regarding the play CHILDREN:
Whether its subject is poetry, bullying, drugs or crossing the road, the objective is the impartment of knowledge and understanding.
"One minute I was laughing out loud and the next I felt incredibly moved and horrified."
"… superb … manages to affect, shock, stun and enthral and left me in no doubt that this tragic social problem, which affects so many women and
children (the statistics are astonishing), must end now."
"The climax creeps up on you, softly and quietly and then hits you. Everything that happened was a surprise. I felt like I'd seen something
really important."
My initial aim here is not to promote either the play or HRH Productions, but emphasise that for theatre to have an impact as a tool for education, it must adhere to the principles of entertainment, stimulation and information. Only then can it make a change. Only then
can we make our young listen and appreciate. Only then can they crawl out of that web and experience theatre which propels them to greater
understanding and learning.
