James Monroe Seaborn born 7 July 1799, married Sarah Emmaline Wright who was born 25 March 1803, and died 17 February 1888 in Bradley County, TN. James died 10 April 1870 in Bradley County, TN. Both are buried in Seaborn Cemetery there. James Monroe Seaborn was one of the first settlers in The White Oak area of Bradley County and owned alot of land.James' monument is the oldest legible monument in the Seaborn Cemetery which is located on part of the original Seaborn farm.
