Titanic starts when Rose (old) sees a artical on the telivision about Brock Lovett who is searching for the heart of the ocean (diamond) in the wreck of the Titanic and she goes to him to tell everyone of her experience of being on the Titanic.
The story starts when Rose (a first class passenger) is boarding Titanic.
And meanwhile Jack is winning his ticket on Titanic in a lucky hand at poker and is in a hurry to get to the ship before it leaves the harbour.
That night Jack saves Rose from commiting suicide and as a token of gratitude he is invited to have dinner with them.
But Roses mother (Ruth) and Roses fiancee (Cal) don't like Jack and Cal gets Spicer to follow Rose and Rose goes to a party with Jack. Rose's mother is furious and forbids Rose to see Jack.
That doesn't stop Rose though, as that night Rose gets Jack to paint her..... wearing only the heart of the ocean. But when Cal finds out he gets Spicer to plant his watch in Jacks pocket and say he stole it. Jack is taken to the bottom of the ship and handcuffed to the rail so he can't escape but the iceberg has hit and water is flowing under the door and filling up the room Jack is in, and it looks like he's going to drown.
But Rose knows he didn't steal the watch and she rescues him. But thats not the end of their problems as they can't get out of the third class quaters as the door is locked. They barge down the door and get out though but the life boats are only taking women and children and Rose won't go without Jack. "You jump, I jump, remember." She says.
So they wait until the ship sinks and they are in the water waiting for a life boat to come.
But one minute before a boat comes Jack dies.
Titanic ends when Rose (old) goes to bed
and rejoins the ship but did she die or was she dreaming?
