Carrie Wright gave me the following poem
The Rose
It was only a tiny rosebud a flower of God's design.
But I cannot unfold these petals with these clumsy hands of mine.
The secret of unfolding flowers is not known to such as I.
The flower of God opens so sweetly in my hands would fade and die
If I cannot unfold a rosebud this flower of God's design.
Then how can I think I have wisdom to unfold this life of mine?
So I'll trust him for his leading each moment of everyday .
And I'll look to him for guidance each step of the pilgrim way.
For the pathway that lies before me my Heavenly Fathers knows.
I'll trust him to reveal the moment just as he unfolds the rose.

The song she picked out was "Go rest high on that mountain"
by Vince Gill
(Now Playing)
I know your life on
earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain
You weren't afraid to face the devil
You were no stranger to the rain
(Chorus)
Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son
Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered 'round your grave to grieve
I wish I could see the angels' faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing
Repeat (Chorus)
Go to heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son.
