We are proud to report that more than 10 students received the President's Scout Award, the highest attainable by Venture Scouts, in the past five years.

In addition, our Scout Group has been awarded the prestigious Frank Sands' Award for our achievements and good performances for three consecutive years.. This is a culmination of our many years of hard work and strong tradition.

During the 5th National Pioneering and Campcraft Competition, our representatives brought back 2 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. Including a bronze in the Venture Tower event

During the National Patrol Camp held in 1997, our Group was awarded a silver merit.

During the National Orienteering Competition held in June 1999, representatives of our Venture Scout Unit emerged National Champions, whilst representatives from our Scout Unit came in a commendable 2nd in their competition. The Group congratulates them on their fine showing and would like to thank all those involved in their preparations for the event.

We are proud to be one of the few Scout Groups who boast of a Lion Dance Troupe as part of our family.  Established way back in 1968, the troupe is a regular performer at all school events.  It is also responsible for many community service events that our Group is involved in.  Most recently, our Troupe performed at the National Day And Teachers' Day Dinner on 21/08/99 held at Dunman High School.  The guest of honour was Mr Wong Kan Seng.  Our Troupe also performed in the School Moving Ceremony in 1995, with a grand show of 8 Lions, as well as the official opening of the new premises at Tanjong Rhu, providing a grand 5 Lion welcome for the Minister for Education, RADM Teo Chee Hean.
