Biography
I was born in Pottsville, PA to Eileen L. Wagner Nagle and Marlin M. Nagle. My husband was born in Washington, D.C. to Margaret E. Langworthy Rivard and Joseph M. Rivard. Because my father was a long distance trucker, we moved to various cities in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. My husband was raised in Maryland. I graduated with honors from Kent County High School in Worton,MD. If you graduated from KCHS sign our schools alumni directory. I attended Delaware State University while employed with Southern States Co-op as a farm supply manager @ Middletown and Smyrna-Clayton locations. My husband entered the U. S. Airforce in 1969 and was stationed at Dover Air Force Base for 12 years and at Andrews Air Force Base for 4 years. I did a short, very short stint as a life insurance salesman (not my thing!). My husband did a short stint as an over the road tractor trailer driver but received a better offer to return to the military. I returned to retail as a Divisional Manager/Buyer for Leggett Department Stores in both the Dover, and Seaford, DE stores. My husband returned to the 436th FMS at Dover Air Force Base. I owned a franchise dealership for Rexair Inc. merchandising Rainbow(R) products. My husband worked for me! Sold my dealership and assisted another franchise operator while I was pregnant with my youngest daughter. My husband worked security for Burns International and J. R. Gettier and Associates. Returned to retail in 1991 with Dress Barn Women's speciality store. My husband continued to work in Security until 1993 when my company transferred me further south to the Rehoboth Beach Ocean Outlet Stores and we moved here to Harrington, DE. Personal injury accident in 1994 (surgery in 1995) required me to leave retail career's permanently. My husband obtained his current job as a correctional officer with the state of Delaware in August of 1993. Attended Polytech School for medical and computer classes for job re-training and fell in love with computers. Graduated from Delaware Technical & Community College with an A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems Microcomputer Technology. If you graduated from DTCC please sign our Alumni Directory. Employed at Legislative Hall in the House Majority Legal Department as the head legal secretary for the Delaware General Assembly. Obtaining my B.S. in Computer Science from Delaware State University I completed an internship at DELJIS (Delaware Criminal Justice Information Systems) programming in Visual Basic October 1998 through December 30, 1999.
