{13:34} For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. {13:35} Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: {13:36} Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. Mark 13:34-36

The man who led me to the Lord
was also a man of authority
not just in the spiritual
but in the natural world too
He was a plant manager


He told me something once I'll never forget
He told me that frequently he would go to a high place
that overlooked the plant and he would speak over it
take authority over it
tell the devil who was in charge here

{9:1} Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. Luke 9:1

Now you might say this isn't the same
but it is
it says authority of ALL devils
Satan is busy trying to mess up your life


I saw the effectiveness of what this man said
when he was manager over a plant
it ran better than ever
and when he left
well, let's just say it wasn't near as good


in the natural we can make explanations for this
but in truth I know what it was
he took authority and EXERCISED IT

{10:19} Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. {10:20} Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:19-20

Yet it wasn't this authority that I saw this man take pride in
it was in the fact that he knew it was God's doing


Whatever position God has placed you in
be certain to exercise the authority given you
if it be at home, job or church
anything God puts you over


be the servant that does his work
and the porter that watches
and rejoice in what God does
