When trouble comes
what do you speak?
Do you speak the trouble
or do you speak the words of God?

{11:21} And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. {11:22} And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. {11:23} For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:21-23

There is a difference between
believing in God
and believing God
And the difference is faith


Many believe in their head the God is
But is He God in your heart?
Do you put faith in His words?


When you are sick do you believe God who says,
 I AM the God who heals you 
When you are in lack do you believe God who says
 I AM the Lord your God who provides 
When trouble comes do you believe God who says
 I AM the Lord your God who delivers you 


It's not hard to believe in God
But how hard it is to have faith in Him


Look at the rich young ruler

{10:17} And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? {10:18} And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. {10:19} Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. {10:20} And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. {10:21} Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. {10:22} And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. {10:23} And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! Mark 10:17-23

He believed in God
But when God said do this...
What happened to his faith?
Where was his faith?


Are we willing to let go of who we are
and take up who He is?
It's a long hard road
but thank God for Jesus Christ
we are not alone
we walk with the one who says
 I AM 


The only real question is
do we  dare to believe 
When trouble comes will we say,
 oh my God what trouble I am in 
or will we say


 Oh Lord, you are my God
In you will I trust 


Obedience is nothing more than trusting God
and nothing less than believing Him at His word


A great friend of mine once told me
 dare to believe 
He was right!
