With ever trial that comes our way
with ever challenge to our faith
there comes a moment when we have to realize something
God is building a house
We are the temple of the Lord
We are the house of God
and He is working upon us, in us, and through us
The trial comes
and we wrestle with it
we try to solve it....by our self
Sometimes we are afraid to go to God
we don't want to keep bringing Him the same problem again
we don't want to have to deal with adjusting our self
we become frustrated and discouraged
as it seems like an endless parade
trial after trial
problem after problem
when will this ever end!
But then comes the moment when God speaks and we hear
He reveals Himself to us
and He shows us enough of what He's doing to encourage us
then we pray
{17:25} For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray before thee. {17:26} And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:

It's easy to believe with your head
it's impossible to believe with your heart if you don't pray
Faith comes from and intimate relationship
and prayer is intimate
Maybe today you're afraid of God a little
you're embarrassed to tell Him what He already knows
or you're just frustrated
you're wondering even what to pray
Just tell Him you love Him
your heart will do the rest
because it is the house of God
He's building it
and that will give you the courage to pray
{127:1} Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
