Faith

One day in grammar school, the teacher was about to explain 'evolution' to the children. The teacher asked a little boy, "Tommy do you see the tree outside?"

Tommy answered, "Yes."

The teacher then asked, "Tommy, do you see the grass outside?"

Tommy again answered, "Yes."

The teacher then said, "Go outside, look up and see if you can see the sky."

Tommy agreed, and returning a few minutes later, replied, "Yes, I saw the sky."

The teacher then asked, "Did you see God?"

Tommy replied, "No."

To this the teacher said, "That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. He doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up wanting to ask the boy some questions. The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy, "Tommy, do you see the tree outside?"

"Yes."

"Tommy, do you see the grass outside?"

"Yessssss," as Tommy was getting tired of these questions.

The little girl continued with, "Did you see the sky?"

"Yessssss."

"Tommy, do you see the teacher?"

"Yes"

"Do you see her brain?"

"No"

"Then according to what we we've been taught today in school, she must not have one!"

'For we walk by faith, not by sight' -

{4:6} For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. {4:7} But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. {4:8} We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; {4:9} Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; {4:10} Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. II Corinthians 4:6-10
