Great is Thy Reward

There is a day of reckoning
A day when we will stand before God
And an accounting will take place
But if we are forgiven our sins
What will that accounting be of?

The master went away He left each servant talents Each according to his ability And on his return the master took an accounting
Two servants doubled their talents But the wicked servant hide his That servant was cast out
Faith is a gift Just like the talents in the parable God wants us to use it
Some think that it is sin we will be held accountable for They're half right Because anything apart from faith is sin
Circumstances come and we have three choices Complain Accept Or do something
Well, murmuring is what Israel did in the Exodus Unless you want to wandering in the wilderness I wouldn't do that Acceptance is what Job did for most of his trial Job's trial didn't end until he did something He followed the instructions God gave Him

{42:10} And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10

What happened here is Job finally applied his faith

God wants us to operate in faith So He can deal with us in grace
You have a choice in every circumstance You can complain and become embittered You can accept it and pretend you're OK with it Or you can become still And know that He is Lord Have faith in God to give you the answer and He will say "Great is thy reward"

{11:6} But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6
