Prayer is the doorway to our hearts
it is the place where we come to know the cross
where we crucify the flesh
and put to death the old man
Prayer is the place where we meet God
where we communion with Him
and Him alone
Prayer is the place where we hold up a mirror
and examine ourselves
then we put down the mirror
and study Him
Prayer carries our hearts
from wherever we are
to wherever He is
Prayer is the doorway to God's house
the gateway to God's heart
and ours
Jesus knocks
We must open the door
Visit with Him today, pray
for prayer is no more and no less than
a heart to heart with God
