Higher Faith, Deeper Love

The one thing every believer wants is Higher Faith
the disciples asked Jesus
 "Lord, increase our faith"
They wanted to be able to do the things He does
So do we

{14:12} Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. {14:13} And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. {14:14} If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. {14:15} If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 14:12-15

Jesus has just summarized the entire process
Higher faith requires deeper love
Is your love deep enough to do exactly what God says
Is your reasoning such that you have faith in His words

Just as a child must learn to have faith in a parent we must learn to have faith in God Some might wonder where God's love is in the midst of the world's suffering He suffers too He weeps when we fail to listen to Him When we choose our own wisdom over His
We are often just like children who think 'Daddy is ruining my fun'; so we disobey But the child who sees the great patience and suffering with which God has gone through to deal with us Begins to deepen the love that faith requires
You want higher faith know that God so loved the world that Jesus would die for you
How deep is your love It's a two way street God has shown you His as you see it more closely you'll start to show Him yours

{3:16} That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; {3:17} That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, {3:18} May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; {3:19} And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Ephesians 3:16-19
