Have you ever had days when nothing seemed to go right?
Ever have weeks like that?
Months?
The days drag by and you're wondering
'Gee, what did I do to deserve this?'
So you start asking the Lord
Help me help me
Then the answer comes back?
"My grace is sufficient for thee"
Here you were expecting some great revelation
Some mighty move of God
Some magnificent act of His power
Some crushing blow to the devil that's plaguing you
And He says?
"My grace is sufficient for thee"
At first you're puzzled
Then maybe you try hard to figure it out what He really means
Then finally you just step back and listen
If you're looking at the problem
You're looking at the wrong thing
Maybe the words to this well-known hymn will help?
"Keep your eyes upon Jesus
Look long at His wonderful face
Then the things of this world will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace"
Ever notice how what you look at is the biggest thing?
Try it, stare at some object
Then a smaller object
After a while the smaller object looks bigger and bigger
as you notice the details of it
The longer you look at Jesus
The smaller the devil will look
And the harder you look upon His grace
The smaller your problem will become
His grace is sufficient
And when you see that
Your problem will cease being a problem
