Light and Dark, Heat and Cold, Good and Evil
we normally think of these as opposites
but they are not
one is the absence of the other
You can not have a quantity of cold nor can you add or subtract cold
it is the absence of heat
same with light and dark, good and evil
one is a presence, the other an absence
Evil is not created but is the absence of good,
the absence of God
for evil can not exist in the presence of God
Know that no amount of protest
no number of votes
no political commentary
no amount of righteous indignation
no number of bombs can rid us of evil
ONLY the presence of God can
Look at yourself in the mirror
realize that every place where evil is recognized
it is solely because God is absent
This then is the knowledge of good and evil
How dark is your light?
How far are you from God?

{7:14} If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Jesus never left heaven
He brought it with Him
He was never in the absence of God
except for that one terrible moment
when He paid our price and became sin for us
God hears from heaven and sends the healing
Consider carefully now what His presence brings
Life, joy, peace
