I've been asked several times
"Where do you come up with these things you write?"
All I can say is I write down my thoughts
A few weeks ago
the word intimate
kept coming up before me
I've been thinking about what that means
Today I was alone in my car
thinking about God
thinking about intimacy
and drinking a soda when
"burrrrrp"
I blushed with embarrassment and said
"OOPS excuse me Lord"
and then He answered
"you're excused, now we've become intimate"
I had a sudden realization
I had been so focused in my thinking
that it was just as if He had been sitting next to me
I rolled with laughter when I realized
the seat next to me was vacant
But I learned something
Think about that first time you fell in love
the first person you were intimate with
you couldn't stop thinking about them
they were real to you
even when they weren't immediately present
they were more real than anything else
What do you treasure
what is your eye upon
what are you meditating on
what are you thinking about
that is what you'll be intimate with
that is what you will love
So how do I get the ideas for what I'm writing
I guess it's from being intimate
{3:16} That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; {3:17} That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, {3:18} May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; {3:19} And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Ephesians 3:16-19
