Martin Luther King had a dream
he saw the way it was
envisioned the way it should be
and in his heart saw it
When I was a child I would have this nightmare where I was falling
my mother finally told me one night
change the dream
imagine you can fly
I began meditating on that
I remembered myself falling in the dream
and then I imagined myself stretching out my arms like superman
I kept that picture in my heart
that night I had a dream
I began falling
and I heard my mothers voice
"you can fly, you can fly"
and I took the picture in my heart and suddenly my fear was gone
I was flying
{11:1} Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1
If you have fear
there is something wrong with the picture in your heart
there is something wrong with your hope
Paul writes about the armor of God
can you "picture" yourself wearing it
Peter walked on the water
can you see yourself doing that
John saw heaven
do you see yourself there
What are you hoping for
if the picture is from God
if it's God's plan focus on that picture
and faith will bring it into being
make a substance of it
the world says, "I'll believe it when I see it"
well actually, when you see it in your heart you'll believe it
that's when faith becomes real
that's when it becomes "the evidence of things unseen"
look at the picture in your heart
if it's not a good one change the dream
see it with the eyes of your heart
....I can fly....I can fly
...I've been to the mountain top with Martin Luther King
Let them who have eyes see
