God remained hidden from me
as long as I believed in me


I believed in my own intelligence
my own education
my own logic
my own talent
my success
my own abilities
my own wisdom


I had no reason to believe in God
I believed in me


Years went by
I began to see the places where...
my intelligence wasn't great enough
my education was lacking
my logic flawed
my talent poorly employed
my success was hollow
my abilities inadequate
my wisdom was lacking


I began to lose my faith in me
I realized I am worth nothing on my own


This is when God revealed Himself to me
He showed me I have worth
He sees value in me
enough to give His life for mine


We all have faith of some kind
and we have reasons behind that faith
God gave me a reason to believe in Him
He believes in me


I am not my own 
but I am a steward of all these things
these things I thought were my own
He has given me worth and purpose
oddly enough I now see that same purpose in my children

{4:19} We love him, because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19

This is the reason for my faith
 Faith works by love 
Now who do you believe in
