Sincerity, honesty, a heart that is unveiled


Adam saw his nakedness and was ashamed  
But was it nudity he was ashamed of?  
Or was it that he was no longer covered by the Spirit of God?


Jesus died and poured out His blood for the washing of the saints
It was not just red blood but also God's blood
The blood of Christ
For it is the Holy Spirit that is poured out on us!

{3:1} Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, {3:2} To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. {3:3} For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. {3:4} But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, {3:5} Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; {3:6} Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; {3:7} That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:1-7

Throughout the scriptures and throughout history
There are descriptions of what appears to be a glow about saints
Even today people talk about the "glow of an expectant mother"
Could that be the clean spirit of the child we see?


I wonder about the "white robes" the saints are to wear in heaven
Are they really cloth?
Or could it be we will be wearing what Adam and Eve wore
The robe of the Holy Spirit
A glow so bright that we are robed in light


Aren't we called to this?
To be dressed in light?
And what is this light?
Is it not the Spirit of God?
The same Spirit that washes us
The same Spirit Jesus poured out
Was this same Spirit not His life's blood?

{23:46} And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave upthe ghost. Luke 23:46

Draw close to God
Open, honest, sincere
Let Him know you see you can't even do the things you need to do
That you even need His help to be obedient, to forgive, to repent


That is when you exchange your filthy rags 
For the robes of righteousness
Which is the robe of light 
Who is the Holy Spirit
The blood of Christ
