We don't see it living in modern civilization
but if you ever get out to the desert at night
or far back into the mountains
away from all the man made lights
you can begin to see the light of God in the sky
Behold, what a marvelous creation
its immensity is staggers the mind
its beauty takes away your breath
the sight of it strikes you with awe
and the thought of it leaves you wondering
I often wonder
how anyone with scientific knowledge of how stars are formed
can not see this is the delicate handiwork of a purposeful creator
how can they not see that this incredible interplay between mass,
gravity and energy
how the paradox between the stark and subtle beauty of it
is God's signature
The ancients looked into the night sky and saw God
but we look through clouded eyes and polluted skies
and all we can see are hot balls of flaming gas
Instead of looking into the mind of creation
they look for ET
Instead of the hope of Christ
they look for hope from a foreign intelligence
How sad
especially when God is right there before us
never too far away
right before our very eyes is the evidence of love
the signature of an infinite mind
upon a boundless sky
Truly we are wonderfully made
designed by a purposeful mind
too bad so many spend so much effort trying
to justify their fear of God
by explaining how it all happened by chance
so they seek a cause to describe the effect
instead of searching the heart of the creator for their purpose
What stars are to the nighttime sky
so are the sons of God
to a darkened world
for they have found their purpose and shine
they radiate God's glory
{60:1} Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. {60:2} For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
