{2:13} And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. {2:14} And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: {2:15} And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; {2:16} And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. {2:17} And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. {2:18} Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? {2:19} Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise itup. {2:20} Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? {2:21} But he spake of the temple of his body.

Jesus wasn't always a nice guy
He took a whip and cleared the temple
We have a temple too
and we need to have a zeal for it
we need to walk in the discipline of Christ
and 'clear out our temple'
What is our temple supposed to have in it?
{21:12} And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of themoneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, {21:13} And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

What is prayer?
Is it just the time we spend on our knees?
Or is it every word between you and God
What is robbing God's word from your heart?
What conversations are you having that aren't godly?
What are you looking at that isn't of God?
Have you noticed filth in the temple?
Clear it out
clean out the 'inside of the cup'
but you must fill it with something
Joshua was told, 'meditate on God's word'
don't let it depart from your mouth
tie it to your wrists
write it on your door posts
speak of it amongst friends
David meditated on God's word
and it flowed 'abundantly' out of David's mouth
we see this in the Psalms
for it is out of the 'overflow' of the heart that the mouth speaks
You are the temple of the Lord
have zeal for His house
run off anything that is robbing from your relationship with God
and then fill His house with His word
meditate on it day and night
then......
The presence of God will come
and God will reveal His glory to you
