More About Me

You are welcome to get to know me better *smiles*

More About Me *smiles*

In the real world I am known as Kelly. I live in a small town in South Texas. It is a small town but because of the land mass and the way the city is laid out, we have that "Big Town" feel. I am not originally from South Texas, I am what many here refer to as a "Transplant". I was born and raised in Southern California...I don't miss California much except for two things,.....the first is my Mother and Father. I love them with all my heart and before moving to Texas I was in my Mother and Father's life almost daily as was my husband, I love you Mom and Dad and miss you greatly. The second thing I miss is the Mountains, you might have guessed a person who is used to all the scenic elements that California offers, is now living in the flat lands (at least that is what I call it *smiles*). I love South Texas and will never regret moving here.

How did I become involved in the "Net"?:

I am fairly new to the "net", in fact I have only been connected for about 9 months. My Mother...Padenski, would always tell me about her adventures on the net...I couldn't understand what she was talking about. I would just listen to what she would say and mutter, "That sounds neat"...all the while not knowing what she was talking about *giggle*. I have always wanted a computer, but only had knowledge of them through past employment. One day I got an opportunity to have my very own computer (which I have wanted for years), so I jumped at the chance. I got connected to the Internet that same day...to find out what all the hype was about...and wham-o....instant addiction *giggles*. I have found that I can not live without my daily fix on the "Internet". I have also found it rather hard to get my caboose off of this chair once I connect to the Internet. When not chatting with my Mother, scouring our streets at Fortune City in the NWatch program, or updating my pages....you can usually find me on ICQ, attending Classes on the Internet, or just cruising the WWW.

My Family:

I am 28 years old, and have been married to a wonderful man for a little over eight years now. We have had our ups and downs as all marraiges have....but I still feel like I am one very lucky woman to have the husband I do. He takes care of me when I am sick, he cooks, he cleans (kind of *giggle*), and he listens. It took both of us many years to obtain the respect, love and trust we have today...but through all the good and bad times we have always leaned on one another...and that makes him the best thing that has ever happened to me....I love you Tim *smiles*.

For those of you who have been here before there are many things that have changed in my husbands and my life. As many of you know I have been with my husband for over 10 years. In these ten years we have tried to have children, Doctor after Doctor had told us that we could not have children....well as of November 29th we became proud parents of Brandon Myles Rapp. A healthy 7 lb. 9 oz. baby boy.

It is a neat and very interesting story at how we found out about Brandon. I had been having trouble with woman problems, when finally one doctor thought he found the problem, tumors!! He set me up for a sonogram, and when the day came to see these tumors, we found that we had a 6 month fetus growing inside of me!! We are both blessed and loved from God to have the luck of having a family. (A full page will be dedicated to our family....meaning Photos!!) Not only a baby but little furry creatures as well...our animals.

A little about our animals:

Being that we couldn't have any children, we had adopted several animals. In fact a lot of people would say we have a small farm. We have two dogs, a cat, and a bird.
The first of the animals is Hunie. Hunie is a light brown Chihuahua, with the weepiest, brown eyes when she doesn't get her way, and the happiest eyes when she does....oh and let's not forget the tearful eyes when she is begging for the attention that she thinks she is not getting from Mommy and Daddy *wink*.
She thinks she is the boss of the house and is what I call, "A Daddy's Girl". My husband would do anything for Hunie (me too, but Daddy is worse *smiles*), they are together from the moment my husband walks in from work until he leaves the next morning. She is always ready to share in a cuddle with you and really loves it when you come equipped with a blanket or small cover.
The next of the two dogs is Echo. Echo is a pick-a-poo, she is a white fluffy pup, that plays bashful, and let me tell you....when I say bashful I mean when you call her she tucks her head into her paws, wags her tail, and bashfully looks at you until finally you have coaxed her enough to come and lay on your lap....Tim and I both have found that when your back is turned and there is trouble...Echo is usually the one who has initiated it. She was given to us when she was about 9 months old....she was abused badly and that is why she is so bashful I believe. I love her dearly (as I do all my animals), and as you can tell...Echo is more my pup. She has come around and is not as skittish and scared as she once was when she entered our home, and that for her is a huge accomplishment.
Then there is Marble...Marble is a little gray, black, and white kitty....who loves to talk with his Mom and play fetch with his Dad. His is one of the most unusual cats I have ever had the chance to meet.
Last but not least is Shyla...our peach faced love bird. She has out lived her life expectancy and you can tell. She will not hesitate to give you a piece of her mind (usually me).
O.K. enough with the introduction. Please continue searching my site and if you like it...tell others as well as signing my guest book to let me know you were here :-).
