You're welcome into this place of mine
A padlock nestled in a beautiful time
There's many paths which it may lead
None taking you to ugliness nor greed
Lush and green are fields and trees
Colorful flowers suckled by bees
Ducks gliding upon the sparkling pond
While the birds sing their merry song
Lilting upon the warm summer's breeze
Is heard the children in their gaiety
Familes stroll throughout this glen
Stopping along to chat with a friend
A land laid open for wolves to roam free
Where man and animal have learned to be
Kindred souls and melding hearts
Leaning toward nature's intended start
I hope I can plant this seed in your mind
During your visit to this place of mine
Come take my hand and walk with me
Through this glen of quiet serenity
