OBITUARY--REV. O.J. HEIMSOTH
Rev Oscar J Heimsoth, born Feb 17, 1895, passed away suddenly
Oct 1st at
the home of his son, Erich, near Lake Creek Church. His age was 67.
Death
was due to a heart stroke.
Rev Heimsoth was a son of the late Herman Heimsoth and wife.
He was born
and reared in the Lake Creek vicinity, and spent most of his life there.
Rev Heimsoth was pastor of Mt Hulda, Brushy, Lake Creek and
Balke Prairie
Lutheran churches. He made his home in the Mt Hulda parsonage.
Rev. Heimsoth is survived by his wife; also by a daughter, Mrs.
R.J.
Blackman,Jr.; two sons, Eric and Melvin both of the Lake Creek church
area;
four sisters, Mrs Frieda Muller of California State, Mrs Lydia Gross
of
Corder, Mo., Mrs Erna Jagel and Mrs Olga Harms of Cole Camp.; two brothers,
Rev Norman Heimsoth of Colorado, and Rev Arnold Heimsoth of Iowa State;
also
nine grandchildren remain to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct 4th, 1:00pm at Mt
Hulda. The
Rev Strichard of Sedalia will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake
Creek
Cemetery.
