BIRD FEEDERS
MILK JUG FEEDER
MATERIALS
milk jug rinsed well and dried
yarn for hanger
scissors
bird seed
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut a hole in two sides of the jug at least 3 inches from the bottom. Punch a hole in the lid of the jug; put one end of the yarn through the hole and tie a knot, so it can't go back through. Use the other end to tie the feeder to a tree in your yard. Fill the bottom with bird seed, and watch all the birdies come to eat.
PINE CONE FEEDER
MATERIALS
pine cone
peanut butter
bird seed
yarn
INSTRUCTIONS
Tie the yarn to the end of the pine cone. Put some peanut butter on a paper plate. Spread it on the pine cone with a butter knife. Pour some bird seed on another plate. Roll the peanut butter covered pine cone in it. Hang it in your yard. Birds love this one.
SUET BALL
MATERIALS
suet (you can get this in the
meat department at the grocery store)
yarn
bird seed
INSTRUCTIONS
Tie the yarn around the suet, leave some loose for hanging. Roll the suet in bird seed, like the pine cone. Hang it up.
