ANGEL DECORATION

MATERIALS

heavy white paper
styrofoam ball
yarn for hair
pipe cleaner, cut in 3 pieces
1 button
Construction paper scraps
wrapping paper scraps
scissors, tape, glue, markers or crayons

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix a little glue with some water. Dip yarn in it and put it on the styrofoam ball for hair; let it dry. While it is drying, you can make the angel's dress. Ask mom or dad to cut you a 12" circle from the heavy white paper; cut a slit in the circle that goes to the center; bend the circle to make a cone shape, glue or tape it together, this is your angel's dress. Draw pretty pictures on it with markers or crayons. Or you can cut pictures from the wrapping paper scraps and glue those on the dress. Glue the button to the front of the dress. Put two small holes in near the top of the dress for the angel's arms. Put a piece of pipe cleaner in each hole. Bend the end that is inside the cone a little and tape it to the cone. Cut two triangles from the heavy white paper for wings. Glue them to the back of the dress. Ok, when the hair is dried you can make the angel's face. Cut two eyes, a nose, and mouth from construction paper scraps, glue them on the front of the ball. Stick one end of the other piece of pipe cleaner in the bottom of the ball; then put the other end in the top of the cone dress, tape it to the side to hold it there.
