POPCORN STRINGS
Thread a needle with some heavy thread and string popcorn and cranberries just like you would with beads. Wrap it around your tree for a pretty garland. When Christmas is over, you can put the string outside for the birds to enjoy.
PAPER CHAINS
Cut about 35 to 40 strips of different colored construction paper 6 inches X 1 inch. Glue together the ends of the first piece, making a circle. Add links one by one, gluing like the first one. On every fifth link make a small hole in strip. Pass a knotted string or thread through the hole, about 4 inches long. Glue other end between 2 paper bells, stars, candy canes or anything you can make. You can make shapes by tracing around cookie cutters.
