Salads for Christmas

FIVE CUP SALAD

1 c. mandarin oranges

1 c. pineapple

1 c. mini. marshmallows

1 c. coconut

1 c. sour cream

Drain oranges and pineapple. Mix all together and let stand overnight in refrigerator.

RICE SALAD

1 c. Minute Rice 1 c. mini. marshmallows
1 c. pineapple tidbits 6 sliced cherries
2 c. Cool whip 3/4 tsp. salt

Drain pineapple; keep juice. Add water to juice to make 1 1/2 cups liquid. Pour in medium saucepan, bring to boil and add rice. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Chill. Add cherries, pineapple and marshmallows. Fold in Cool Whip.

CRANBERRY SALAD

2 pkg. cherry Jello 1 can cranberry sauce
1 pkg. cream cheese 1 c. seedless grapes
2 c. hot water 3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 c. cold water 1 pint whipped cream
3 T. lemon juice

Mix Jello and water and slightly gel. Mix cream cheese, lemon juice and cranberry sauce. Stir in grapes and nuts. Add to Jello mixture. Fold in whipped cream
