They originated from ECHELBRONN SINSHEIM BADER (Germany)
They moved to Russia as did many families in 1809.
Then they went to the midwest America's in the 1880's.

[840] Services were held August 16 from Beebe Dewey Funeral Home
in Ithaca for George Heil, 73, 603 N. Luce Rd., Ithaca, who died August
14 at his residence. A retired automobile mechanic, he was
employed at CL Greening and Son of Alma for 21 years. A
native of russia, he was born July 6, 1899 in Louva, the son of John and
Catherine Heil. He was married August 15, 1925 in Ithaca to
the former Florence Mae Stahl, who survives. Also surviving
are 2, daughters, Mrs. Frances Clark of Ithaca and Mrs. Helen Stone of
Alma; 2 sisters, Mrs. Anna Dell of St. Louis, and Mrs. Christina Engleman
of Hazel Park; brothers, Henry Heil of Carson city and August Heil of
Santa Rosa, California; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Rev. Ronald Waterstradt of the Alma Grace Evangelical
Lutheran Church officiated with burial at Pritchard Cemetery.
