The picture below is a small detailed section of the
Kingston Peninsula To give you an idea of where
Reed Point is situated
This map when viewed from the original
paper the scribble you see is sections of
land and who the owners are at the time.
The approximent date of map is around
the late 1800's but the quality was lost
due to the low dpi of the scanner but in
the near future it may be fixed. The blot
you see in the lower right hand side is
Long Island popular for a rock face
called Ministers Face suposedly shaped
like a stern minister face. It is also a
middle point to the Ice Road connecting
Chappel Grove to the near the Foster
Thursten road at the end of Rosthsay
Ave. It is open to the daring souls
braving the cold winter and the
thickness of the ice to make a 45
min drive to Saint John a 15min one
every car from the family car to cab of
an 18wheeler With only a few finding out how
cold the water is. Fewer still not living
to tell about it. But then
again that is a different story.
