On Aug. 28, at the south 19th and Mildred streets McDonald's
restaurant, my daughter, Sabrina Hardy, had taken her young
son Anthony for lunch. She passed out at the wheel of her car
near the order window, and a nurse, with her children, in either
the car in front of her or behind called 911 and proceeded to
help them...
My daughter does not know the name of the lady who helped
her, nor the name of the employee who gave my grandson some
ice cream, but wishes to express her thankfulness and assistance
in this time of need. I had been in California because of medical
problems of a son and returned Sunday to find Sabrina in the
hospital with an inoperable brain tumor.
We, Sabrina's family, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the
nurse and her family. Possibly if she reads the paper, she will see
and know that her quick and thoughtful actions undoubtedly saved
my daughter's life. Whoever you are, wherever you may be,
thank you.
