Let us be your guide to free internet service providers. We have compiled this list of free ISP's because we were tired of paying so much money to be able to use the internet. We paid local internet service providers for 4 years before we discovered that there were free ISP's out there. That's why we want to let people know that there are alternatives to paying for internet use.If you find a free ISP on this page that does not supportyour area... Please write them & let them know you want it. The more email they get from your area, the better the chance of them arriving in your area.
Free ISP's are disappearing rapidly! 1st Up is going out of business! They powered several free isp's. I'm not sure about Spinway, but I know that they have cancelled NBCi's free internet service. If you hear of any new free isp's out there that we do not have listed, or any new news on any of the one's we do have listed, please post them in our web forum or send us an e-mail.

DotNow! has a banner ad that runs the length of your screen. It sits at the top or bottom of your web browser. Ads also pop up periodically.
This is the first free isp we ever had. They have a good connection and free pop3 email. They do have one of those annoying banner ads though. NetZero is still alive, but not very well... Since other free isp's have gone out of business recently, NetZero's connection performance has been reduced rapidly!

Seems to have a good connection. Free email. Has an annoying banner ad that stays on the left side of your screen. You can move it up or down. FreeLane is back! Just download the new FreeLane 2.0. They have discontinued support for Mac users & for Canada though. They also may not have access numbers in your area anymore. They are working on adding more...

Juno works fairly well. Has one of those annoying ad banners though. And if I remember right, it takes over your default e-mail settings, which can be annoying. At about the same time that 1st Up started going out of business, Juno announced a change in their free internet service! They are putting severe restrictions on web usage by their free isp customers!

Sign up for iFreedom's Free Internet Access!

Three times per hour a banner ad pops up. Visit their sponsor and the ad disappears (until the next one that is). I have not checked out this free isp yet because they do not have local access numbers in my area yet. Please let us know if you have used their service and share your thoughts with us. Thank you Johnathan for letting us know that iFreedom has been taken over by NetZero also! :)

This free isp was powered by Spinway. Spinway has sold their business to BlueLight. So, BlueLight is still in business! They have an annoying banner ad.We have not checked this site out much yet so let us know if you have :)

As far as we can tell this free isp is for Windows2000 users. We have not been able to check this place out since they do not have a free access number in our area yet. If anyone has used this service please let us know.

This one works best with light colored or busy backgrounds.
This one works great with any background :)
