As a mom who breastfed I know that there are times when we need help. When my oldest was born I thought that breastfeeding would come naturally, well I was wrong! Not that it was terribly difficult but that its something that I just didn't know much about, especially positioning. I ended up calling a lactation consultant. That was the best thing I could have done, it helped tremendously. So if you or someone you know wants to breastfeed or is having trouble currently I want to encourage ASKING for help. Just because we are moms doesn't mean we know how to do everything concerning our babies, especially with the first baby!!!
