"Valentine's Day"
 
A big hello to everyone out there in Ferret land. My
name is "Tiney" and I'm a very cute, chubby but lovable
male sable. My story started back in February this year.
On Valentine's Day my Mum took me for a drive that
changed my life. She took me to this place that had
five other ferrets and boy did they have a big "condo" or
what!!! The people that owned these other ferrets were
going to be my new mum and dad. I really liked my new
parents but my new brothers and sisters didn't like me
much.
Each day Mum and Dad would put me in the condo with
the others and take me out at the end of the day. So
everyday I would have to put up with being bitten,
scratched and attacked by my new brothers and sisters
until mum got home from work when she would save me
and make me feel safe again.
This went on for a while until one day mum came home
And found me trembling in the corner with blood all over
me screaming really loud at the others to stay away
from me. You see, I'm a lover not a fighter and my
brothers and sisters just couldn't understand. Mum and
dad raced me inside and gave me a bath with nice warm
water and blow dried my hair. Dad then put some Betadine
on my cuts and put me into the bathroom where I had lots
of rugs to curl up into. I was so exhausted from
constantly fighting with the others I slept for two days
only waking for dinner and toilet time. So from then on I
was separated from them.
Dad built me my own two storey condo so I now have
my own bachelor pad.  In the mornings I am given breakfast
(which is the best), by Dad, which consists of warm milk and
weetbix and then in the evening mum and dad take me inside their
house where I just "ping" everywhere.
I love my playtime because there is sooo much to see
and do in mum and dad's house. I just get so excited I
"fart" while I'm pinging around the house and mum tells
me I stink but I think I smell beautiful. After playtime I
am served dinner in my condo where I fall asleep in my
hammock. I overheard my mum telling dad she wants to
get me a baby ferret to be my friend so I won't be so
lonely. I can't wait, I'm really excited. When I get my
new brother or sister I will write to tell you all about it.
