Abijah Hall, a son of Enoch and Nancy Hall (Vol. ), was born in1798, in Robeson Co. N.C. His parents moved in his infancy ot MontgomeruCounty, Ga. He was married in Irwin County, August 17, 1828, toLorenaHall, born 1809 in South Carolina, daughter of Jacob and Mary Hall ofIrwin County (no known kin). They had eleven Children, three died Young.Mr. Hall lived in the 4th land district (518th Militia Kistrict) of IrwinCounty until his death in 1855. His residence was in present TiftCounty. Benjamin Baker was appointed administrator of his next year, hisresidence was cut into Berrien County in its formation.
Mr. Hall united with the Primitive Baptist Church at Dorminy'sMeeting-house Irwin Countym about 1835, but was expelled Nov, 25, 1842.His wife was baptized July 23, 1841, into the same church at YoungMetting-house, and was dismissed byletter April 27,1850. She then wnitedby letter with Emmeus (Flat Creek) Church, Berrien County, March 13,1852, and died a member there.

Berrien Lewis Hall was born March 18, 1826, in Appling County, aomof Instance Hall (Vol. IV). He was married Dec. 29, 1844, to MariaJohnson, born July 24, 1824, daughter of Malcolm Johnson (Vol IV). Theyhad seven children,
Mr. Hall enlisted April 27,1862, at Waynesville, Co. "A", 4thGeorgia Calvary Regiment, C.S.A., later transferring to Co. "K". He wasdischarged August, 1863, by order of the Confederated Secretary of War onaccount of being a county officer. He served as Clerk of ApplingSuperior Court, 1862-64, and as Justice of Peace, 457th district,1864-1868. He died Dec. 21, 1889. His wife died April 30, 1886. Theywere buried in Zoar Cemetery in Appling County.
Note: Looking in (vol 4) there is no memichin of Maria Johnson born toMalcolm Johnson.
