Visitors to my web site have asked me about my hometown, Holland Michigan. In "About Me" I talked a little about the fact that Holland City is only a part of the over all Holland area. Holland also includes the area to the north of the Lake Macatawa (used to be called Black Lake) which includes Holland and Park Townships. Holland also includes an area to the west of the city which is a part of Park Township to Macatawa. I've listed some images and links to this great city I call home located on the east shore of Lake Michigan.

Holland is most famous for it's Tulip Time festival. Every year in May the festival is held for two weeks. Over a million visitors attend each year. Addtional information on the festival is available at Tulip Time Home Page

Downtown Holland offers not only the location for the Tulip Time Parades but a very nice shopping area with small parks such as the one shown above. If you don't find what you are looking for downtown the Holland area also offers the Westshore Mall and the Horizon Outlet Mall. Maps On Us: Enter Holland, MI

Holland is a habor town. The harbor is large enough to allow ocean ships to come into the Holland area. Shown above is a photo of "Big Red", the Holland Lighthouse.
