There is a 20% discount on all costs to all members of The Company Of The Griffon.
There is a further 20% discount on the overall entry cost to anybody who DM's at least one session for us.
Complete and total entry cost is waved for anyone who DM's all sessions for us (and those DM's will receive a FREE ReefCon T-Shirt)! Let us know well in advance, thanks!
You will, however, need to demonstrate your experience as a DM if we are not certain of your credentials.
Persons who sign up for all three Living Greyhawk (D&D) sessions will be eligible to enter the Potions And Scrolls Activity Centre which will take place at 1.45pm on Sunday. Persons who sign up for all three Living Greyhawk (D&D) sessions plus the Living Force (Star Wars) session will be eligible to also enter the Wondrous Items Activity Centre which will take place at 2.00pm on Sunday. Anybody who DM's, but plays at least one Living Greyhawk session will also be eligible to enter both Activity Centres. More info on Activity Centres further down this page ...
All of the Living Greyhawk (3rd Edition D&D) scenarios are set in the country of PERRENLAND. For more information about Perrenland, visit the Perrenland Homepage here.
The Living Force (Star Wars d20) scenario is set in the CULARIN SYSTEM (Outer Mid Rim). For more information, purchase the Living Force Handbook (RRP $32.00) - or visit the official RPGA Star Wars Site.
You will need to bring your Living Greyhawk Player Characters pre-rolled to the convention (rolled according to LG-RPGA guidelines). If you are unsure of the guidelines, visit the RPGA Official Site. We will have a few pre-rolled character templates for you to use if you really get stuck (but please let us know if you can!). The idea is to get as many role-players along as possible (all joined up in the RPGA of course!) and have a great weekend of official role-playing.
We will also have quite a few pre-rolled character templates for the Living Force game (as it is very new and folks are less experienced with it). But we do prefer you to bring your own!
If you've never joined an RPGA event - then here's your chance!!!! Come along and get involved ! You will, of course, need to be at least an RPGA Fellowship Member (FREE). You can join by following the instructions on the How To Join Us! section of the Company Of The Griffon website.
Remember : Living Greyhawk (D&D) character stats : 28 points buy.
Living Force (d20 Star Wars) character stats : 25 points buy.
WHAT'S PLAYING??
SATURDAY
7.30am - 8.30am : Registration.
9.00am - 1.00pm : The Voormann's Daughter. D&D. Living Greyhawk. This scenario, by Mark Somers, is the first in the "Krestible Series" of scenarios which details the machinations behind the election and re-election of Karenin, current voormann of Great Perrenland. For Character Levels 1-2. Every eight years, the clan chiefs and mayors of the Concatenated Cantons of Perrenland elect a Voormann (Prime Minister) to lead the nation. The current Voormann's last year of this term is almost over and Perrenland's dignitaries are casting their eyes over suitable candidates. Who knows what skulduggery is going on in the background? That's why a group of resourceful adventurers are needed to investigate the suspicious activities of The Voormann's Daughter.
1.00pm - 2.00pm : Lunch. There's a beaut take-away next to the school that sells fish and chips, hamburgers, and all sorts of stuff. You won't go hungry.
2.00pm - 6.00pm : Swamp Things! D&D. Living Greyhawk. This scenario, by Bruce Paris, is a Perrenland Adaptable. Mr. Paris will also be present at the convention to DM one lucky group! :-). For Character Levels 1-6 (adaptable according to average PC level in party). The temple of a long forgotten humanoid god, buried deep in a dark swamp, threatens a once peaceful druid's grove now in the midst of its own political upheaval.
6.00pm - 7.00pm : Dinner. A good old Ozzie BBQ will be provided at a nominal cost.
7.00pm - 11.00pm : RPGA WORLD PREMIERE EVENT !
Night Of Steel D&D. Living Greyhawk. This scenario, by Patrick Williamson, is a regional scenario which deals with the darker side of Perrenland. For Character Levels 3-6 (adaptable according to level of PC's in the party). The election campaign for the next Voormann of Perrenland is heating up. In the capital (Schwartzenbruin), political debate has entered a new phase. The elder statesman and uncle of the current Voormann, a priest named Ingolt Weisspeer, has emerged from retirement to publicly criticize his nephew's handling of his office over the last eight years. Siting the Karenin administration as morally corrupt, Weisspeer's reappearance has been a major embarrassment for Voormann Karenin, and may have all but dashed any hopes he had of re-election. And something dark and sinister awaits all who investigate ...
11.00pm - Onwards : Drinks at Dunwoody's Tavern. Northern Sheridan Street.
SUNDAY
8.00am - 9.00am : Introduction To The Living Force Star Wars Campaign (and the handing out of character templates if need be).
9.15am - 1.15pm : NORTH QUEENSLAND PREMIERE EVENT !
RPGA Living Force Star Wars Scenario (TBA). Find out what happens shortly after the destruction of the Trade Federation at Naboo! Will YOU be the next great Jedi Guardian? This scenario has both the full sanction and approval of LucasFilms and Wizards Of The Coast. Places Limited ! Book Early !!
1.15pm - 1.45pm : Lunch. The take-away shop is next door!
1.45pm - 2.00pm : Living Greyhawk Activity Centre : Potions & Scrolls

the question on the front correctly and you WIN the PRIZE CERTIFICATES INSIDE!
All questions are trivia based on the 3 Living Greyhawk Scenarios played over
the weekend. Certs are not tradeable at this convention, and belong immediately
to the LIving Greyhawk PC belonging to the winner.
